PSTech at International Entrepreneurship Fair "Business Base 2010"

International Entrepreneurship Fair for Small & Medium-Sized Enterprises "Business Base 2010" was held in a period from 2nd to 4th of December 2010 in the in Belgrade Fair Grounds. The slogan of the Fair was "The key to success". At the opening ceremony, guests were addressed by the Director of National Agency for Regional Development Ivica Eždenci and Branka Radovanovic, Director of PSTech.

"The key to success lies in knowledge, relationships and support. National Agency for Regional Development is a partner of entrepreneurs. Next year we will support entrepreneurs through projects co-financing for the competitiveness and innovation developement, " said the director of the National Agency for Regional Development, Ivica Eždenci. He added that small and medium enterprises are most affected by the crisis, but what encourages is the fact that more than half Serbian companies have announced new investments in manufacturing and equipment.

Branka Radovanović said that Serbia can become a major exporter of IT services, stating the example of PSTech, which exports mainly to the U.S. market. "We started with three employees, while there are now 127, of which up to 120 programmers." added the Director of PSTech and reminded that PSTech organized the first IT Incubator for small and medium enterprises in Serbia in order to transfer knowledge to companies that have some ideas for new businesses.

"Business Base 2010" brought together more than 300 exhibitors from Serbia and abroad, as well as institutions that provide support to the SME sector.

Attendees profile includes Entrepreneurship, Businessmen, Regional Centers, Agencies, Chambers, Associations, Government Institutions, Institutes and Research Centers.

PSTech will continue to contribute to the development of local IT industry in the future, and to participate actively in projects that encourage the establishment and development of small and medium enterprises in Serbia.
